E2C

Established in 1997 by Edith Cresson, L’Ecole de la 2e Chance (E2C) offers a lifeline to young individuals who have excited the educational system and are excluded from the job market. We were fortunate to work closely with E2C on the DEFFINUM project initiative spearheaded by the Labor Department, during an extensive design project that lasted over a year.

This project has led us to:

- embark on an extensive immersion phase across France to engage with schools, trainers, and interns, to understand the diverse challenges and contexts of our users;

- grasp a complex technical ecosystem and the interconnections between different information systems;

- consistently involve users through review sessions and regular testing;

- define an initial functional scope and establish a long-term product strategy with phased deliveries;

- establish robust foundations for a tool that will be enriched over time based on real user feedback.
