PichPich is a warm, friendly and refreshing place, more than just a caterer or a shop. PichPich will take you on a journey to discover a luscious and colorful cuisine with oriental savors of the Middle East. Let’s discover the past we share with this caterer who provides for both private and professional clients, known for its healthy, delicious, exotic cuisine

PichPich comes from the collaboration between two sisters-in-law: Julie & Julie. It’s the story of a family who wanted to communicate about a little-known cuisine, one that can take you on a journey. The opening of their first physical point of sale (which we hope will be one of many), located in the 10th arrondissement of Paris, brings life to this ambition.

The collaboration of PichPich and Alasta came into existence thanks to the creation of an identity of a strong brand, both colorful and rich, similar in any ways to this culinary journey to the heart of Paris.

We have taken our role in the project alongside PichPich in order to create a very specific identity: developing a strong brand which can be used with diverse communication material. The creation of an identity which will be found on the PichPich sign, aprons, tote bags, social networks. In short, an identity which was going to come to life materially as well as digitally.

In order to create an inviting universe which reflects this exotic cuisine, we had to understand the essence of the PichPich project, its goals, its environment, customers’ expectations. We therefore had to explore the world of the two Julies in order to understand the power of ‘PichPich’.

‘PichPich’ is the magic word which breaks an evil spell. It is an expression used by Julie’s grandmother who pulled on her granddaughter’s ears with her hands as she said it. This is a symbol we find in the graphic world of the brand.

These long-established codes also inspired us in the creation of this graphic world, such as the eye, the tableware, the deep blue mosaic designs - all the while modernizing them. The drawings were first done by hand before being digitalized in order to rework them.

You can discover PichPich’s universe and its delicious cuisine at 28 rue d’Enghien, 75010 Paris. Not only will you discover exotic savors of the Middle East, but you will also enjoy an authentic experience thanks to traditional tableware, spices, tote bags. Our objective was to create a powerful brand easily adaptable to different types of communication material, so we projected the identity we created on accessories as well as on the shopfront sign and window decals.

Creating the desire to experience exotic Middle Eastern culture was a major challenge, particularly in the restaurant and catering business. Today, many restaurants with strong identities take us on journeys thanks to new flavors and savors; with PichPich we are accompanied on this refreshing and unique experience within their shop.
