Many brands are now crafted with animation in mind, making it a key differentiator that significantly boosts message impact and memorability. Whether it's on a website or social media, motion design represents a strategic shift, not just a trend, by improving key metrics like conversion and click-through rates.
Keeping this evolution in mind, we recently collaborated with Ankar - the next generation innovation platform for R&D and IP teams - to build their launch visual identity.
This led us to:
→ Create an animated logo inspired by the Game Of Life (Conway, 1970), mimicking cell and organism evolution. Deviating from the cellular automaton's strict rules, we craft a visually appealing, natural animation where cells smoothly transition between positions, returning to the original logo shape.
→ Consider the "prims," a graphic vocabulary introducing an ultra-modern and dynamic aesthetic, reflecting Ankar's commitment to innovation. A nod to the science sector, they symbolize decomposition and analysis. When animated, these prims enhance the brand with brilliant, sharp precision through reflective facets.
→ Enriches backgrounds with a square mosaic that echoes the graphic system inspired by the logo and its animated counterpart. These squares are positioned on an invisible grid, enabling movement along the X and Y axes. This allows the squares to reposition, exchange places or overlap, creating a dynamic visual effect.
