Lovebox

The Lovebox is a connected messaging device that pairs with an app to allow users to send messages that go beyond regular communication.

Lovebox's mission is to use technology to help its users connect with their loved ones on a daily basis - including with those who are not familiar with technology! You may have spotted a Lovebox on a bedside table: this small box hides as a digital screen on which messages of love, support and/or encouragement appear.... sent by your loved ones!

When we met with the Lovebox team, it was love at first sight! That's why we collaborated with them to optimize their app and add new features. Through co-creation workshops and regular reassessments of the user experience, our mission was to simplify the user journey as well as to explore new features and new uses of the application. The goal? To think outside the box to help users constantly find new ways to send love!

During the beginning of our collaboration, we focused on optimizing the user experience of the Lovebox. The goal was to make it easier for new users to learn how to use the object. To do so, we set up clear interfaces as well as optimized screens which helped make the user journey as smooth as possible.

The Lovebox is an object that connects via WiFi: we therefore sought to optimize the screens to allow users to send love in the easiest way possible. This way, they can log into their Lovebox, create an account and send love messages with ease.

In order to increase the variety of ways to send love messages, the Lovebox app allows users to send messages via postcard or WhatsApp. Moreover, we’ve included a reminder system so that users can make sure they send messages regularly and don't miss important dates (such as Valentine's Day or birthdays). The goal is to be present in the user's daily life and to help them take care of their loved ones in a simple and intuitive way.

In order to enhance the user experience, the Lovebox application offers a subscription system that unlocks a number of exclusive templates. The user can also add stickers and text to their messages, allowing them to enjoy an more personalized experience. Now, anyone can add an extra touch to their lovenotes from anywhere, with just a few clicks.
